Neuropsychological assessment
We provide detailed assessment of cognitive abilities. This typically involves a clinical interview and a range of pencil-and-paper tests of thinking skills, including memory, attention, speed of processing, language and complex thinking abilities.

Medico-legal assessment
We undertake neuropsychological assessments for individuals and Court proceedings. We prepare reports for individuals in Family Proceedings, Criminal and Civil Courts, and for the Parole Board. Our team has undergone specialist training with Bond Solon and the British Psychological Society.

Mental Capacity Assessment
We undertake assessments of mental capacity in relation to a wide range of decisions, such as capacity to litigate, capacity to make decisions relating to care, management of finances or property and to make a will.

Cognitive rehabilitation
We provide cognitive rehabilitation to help individuals to adapt to the impact of difficulties with thinking skills (e.g., problem-solving, memory etc.). We help people to develop practical and effective strategies to achieve their goals. This usually involves weekly or fortnightly one hour sessions.

Psychological therapy
We help people to adjust to emotional and psychological difficulties associated with neurological conditions. We draw on a range of treatment models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to find an approach that works best for the person.

Supervision
We provide supervision and training for other clinicians on our areas of expertise. Dr Prangnell offers specialist neuropsychology supervision for clinicians pursuing professional training in neuropsychology. He is entered on the BPS RAPPS and eligible to be a named supervisor for professional training..
