Dr Simon Prangnell

DClinPsy, PGDip, CPsychol

Dr Prangnell is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist who has worked in acute and rehabilitation neuropsychology services.​

He works with people aged 16 upwards who have acquired brain injury (such as stroke or traumatic brain injury) or progressive neurological illness (such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease).

His private practice provides neuropsychological assessment, mental capacity assessment and psychological therapy, including expert witness services. 

​His NHS role is based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH NHS FT).  He is the Clinical Director of Psychological Medicine, Pain and Outpatients for OUH NHS FT.​ His research interests include psychological factors that influence outcome from surgery, cross-cultural neuropsychology practice and the neuropsychology of deep brain stimulation therapy.

He is on the specialist register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and is an external examiner for the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Bristol.

Dr Joseph Mole

PhD, DClinPsy, CPsychol

Dr Mole is an experienced Neuropsychologist/Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment.

His private practice includes neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, psychological therapy and expert witness services. His work combines a scientific understanding of the brain with an holistic approach to understanding what matters to each individual.

Dr Mole holds a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology (University of Oxford) and a PhD in Neuropsychology (UCL). He has over a decade of experience working with people with neurological conditions, in several of the UK’s leading neuropsychology services. This includes six years at the Neuropsychology department at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he was the clinical lead for the neuropsychology service for people with Traumatic Brain Injury. He has also undergone expert witness training with Bond Solon and the British Psychological Society.

He is an honorary researcher at the Institute of Neurology at UCL. To date, he has authored one book, four book chapters and 23 scientific papers. He is an associate editor of the journals Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Frontiers in Psychology and has received awards from the International Neuropsychological Society and British Psychological Society.

Dr Alison Cullen

DPsy(Clin Neuro), BPsy(Hons

Dr Cullen is a Neuropsychologist & Clinical Psychologist who works with people across the lifespan, providing neuropsychological assessment and therapy.

She completed her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology in Australia (Monash University). Prior to moving to the UK, she held roles in a range of services including diagnosis of neurodegenerative conditions and rehabilitation in acquired brain injury. Currently, she also works for the NHS at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, as the lead clinical neuropsychologist on the hyperacute and acute stroke wards.

In addition to providing supervision, lecturing, and training, Dr Cullen has led research creating novel approaches to psychological treatment. This includes development and validation of a virtual reality platform for delivering therapy in obsessive-compulsive and anxiety disorders. She has worked on clinical trials, published peer-reviewed academic papers, and presented at international conferences.

Dr Cullen has expertise working with people who have neurological conditions and their families, providing comprehensive assessment, psychological interventions, cognitive rehabilitation, and positive behaviour management. She takes a person-centred approach to understanding each individual’s needs, to then engage in collaborative, empathic care.
