Dr Simon Prangnell
DClinPsy, PGDip, CPsychol
Dr Prangnell is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist who has worked in acute and rehabilitation neuropsychology services. He trained at the University of Birmingham, the University of Oxford and the University of Bristol.
He works with people aged 16 upwards who have acquired brain injury (such as stroke or traumatic brain injury) or progressive neurological illness (such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease).
His private practice provides neuropsychological assessment, mental capacity assessment and psychological therapy, including expert witness services.
His research interests include psychological factors that influence outcome from surgery, cross-cultural neuropsychology practice and the neuropsychology of deep brain stimulation therapy.
He is on the specialist register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and is an external examiner for the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Bristol.
Dr Joseph Mole
DClinPsy, PhD, CPsychol
Dr Mole is an experienced Neuropsychologist/Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment.
His private practice includes neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, psychological therapy and expert witness services. His work combines a scientific understanding of the brain with an holistic approach to understanding what matters to each individual.
Dr Mole holds a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology (University of Oxford) and a PhD in Neuropsychology (UCL). He has over a decade of experience working with people with neurological conditions, in several of the UK’s leading neuropsychology services. This includes six years at the Neuropsychology department at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he was the clinical lead for the neuropsychology service for people with Traumatic Brain Injury. He has also undergone expert witness training with Bond Solon and the British Psychological Society.
He is an honorary researcher at the Institute of Neurology at UCL. To date, he has authored one book, four book chapters and 26 scientific papers. He is an associate editor of the journals Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Frontiers in Psychology and has received awards from the International Neuropsychological Society and British Psychological Society.
